On what type of computer will EasyOffice run? |
EasyOffice will run on any computer ('PC') that is using Windows. ( Windows98, WindowsMe, Windows2000, WindowsXP all work with EasyOffice.)
(With regard to the older Windows operating system, particularly Windows98/Me, not every one of the many programs included in EasyOffice, will run on these older operating systems.)

Do I need Microsoft Office on my computer, in order for EasyOffice to work? |
No, of course not. EasyOffice is a full office suite that competes with Microsoft Office. You don't need Microsoft Office in order for EasyOffice to work. |

I already have Microsoft Office (or Corel WordPerfect Office) on my computer. Can I also install EasyOffice? |
Yes, of course. EasyOffice peacefully co-exists with Microsoft Office on the same computer. EasyOffice contains many programs and features (eg, EasyCalculator, EasyZip, Adobe PDF creation, etc) not found in Microsoft Office, and indeed, we have hundreds of thousands of users that have both EasyOffice and Microsoft Office on their computers. |

Is EasyOffice compatible with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel files? |
Yes. EasyOffice can produce Word and Excel files that are 100% compatible with Microsoft Office. EasyOffice can read most Microsoft Word and Excel files, although graphics are sometimes handled slightly differently. |

What are the similarities and differences between Microsoft Office and EasyOffice? |
Microsoft Office is a fine, quality piece of software.
EasyOffice has tried to give you the many features offered by Microsoft Office, but as well, in certain areas we have tried to give you a bit more. For example, some of our programs have an 'Easy' mode which makes learning to use the program much easier. For example, many of you wrote to us telling us that you wanted a more powerful calculator, and we listened to you, and created EasyCalculator, and so on.
EasyOffice has many programs and features that you would not ordinarily find in Microsoft Office.

Is EasyOffice available in German? With a U.K. spelling dictionary? With a French voice to read back my entered numbers or spelling mistakes?.... In Chinese? |
Yes, yes, yes, and yes. When you first put the EasyOffice CD-ROM into your computer, you will be given the choice of installing EasyOffice in most of the world's major languages. At this time, most installations are working in their native languages, and more and more components of our programs are being translated into the target native language.
Note: EasyOffice was re-written in 2004. As a result, new language localizations must be done in order to make use of the new features. This is expected to occur in 2005 for the larger selling languages. At present, even though EasyOffice goes through the installation in the chosen language, the final programs installed will actually be English ones. |

Can we become authorized resellers of EasyOffice? |
Yes (most probably).
If you build PCs and want to install EasyOffice on all your systems, simply become an authorized reseller.

Where was EasyOffice developed? |
EasyOffice was developed by E-Press Corp. in Canada. However, many of the software modules and open source code used in our product comes from developers in virtually every country of the globe. |

How many persons are using EasyOffice? |
There are currently over three million copies (including downloaded versions and computer magazine featured story CD-ROMs) of EasyOffice being used in just about every part of the world. |

Is the CD-ROM which I received a full, working copy of EasyOffice? |
Yes. If you enter 'DEMO' as your license number when you start the program, then most features are available. However, a licensing screen starts each time, stating that a license should be purchased for commercial use of the program. Please feel free to use this CD-ROM for your personal use as well as trying it out in your business or organization. If you are happy with the software, then please go to our purchase page and purchase a license.
